Along with that, they also traded for Minnesota Timberwolves forward Derrick Williams.

However, they could definitely use some help in the backcourt. Sources say they could go after Golden State Warriors sharpshooting guard Klay Thompson, as they could trade for him before the Feb. 20 trade deadline approaches.

From CBS Sports:
One top priority is shoring up the point guard position, with Andre Miller jumping to the top of the list after his falling out with Nuggets coach Brian Shaw and ensuing two-game suspension. But Kings GM Pete D'Alessandro's true long-term target is said to be Warriors sharpshooter Klay Thompson, who will be a restricted free agent after next season.

As the above report says, the Kings could go after Andre Miller, who the Denver Nuggets are trying to get rid of, but are looking for a long-term plan in Thompson.

Thompson is having one heck of a season so far, averaging 19.5 points per game with the Dubs.
