UFC quarterback Blake Bortles will be foregoing his senior season of college football, and will instead decide to turn pro. The star QB has declared for the 2014 NFL Draft today, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Bortles had a solid junior year with the Knights this season, leading them to a 12-1 record along with an epic Fiesta Bowl victory over the Baylor Bears.
Bortles had 3,581 passing yards along with 25 touchdowns to only nine interceptions this season. He completed nearly 68 percent of his passes. He also had nearly 300 yards rushing with six rushing touchdowns.
Bortles has the chance to be the top quarterback taken in this year's draft. He will be competing with the likes of Teddy Bridgewater for that nod, as both QBs could go No. 1 overall to the Houston Texans.
