The Philadelphia 76ers made one of the first moves of the 2014 NBA Trade Deadline, sending center Spencer Hawes to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for two second-round draft picks.

The move helps Cleveland add depth at the center position. They could use some more help in the frontcourt after getting Andrew Bynum resulted in a bust.

On the other side of this deal, the move definitely illustrates Philly's desire for tanking for the rest of the 2013-14 regular season. They are still trying to move Evan Turner, which could lead to them getting another draft pick.

With that said, expect Philly to be in the race for the likes of Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid and Andrew Wiggins next June.
