The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off another disappointed season and have now started their offseason looking. Tampa Bay signed Lovie Smith as their new head coach and one thing the Bucs need help on is the special teams. One player who would fit just that is Devin Hester.
“We have to have great special teams. When we send our kicker on the field, we expect him to make the kick. You have to have a great punter. But for us to have great special teams, you have to have a great returner. We’re excited about putting all these pieces together, ”
said Smith in his press conference.Smith has a great idea of the game of Hester and would be a perfect fit for the team, so this signing is becoming very likely everyday. Another factor that runs into this deal is money. It shouldn't be a huge factor with the fact that Hester is 31 years old.
Hester might be the best returner in history. Really anything right now for the Bucs should help.
