The Atlanta Hawks got some inspiration after watching No. 7 seed UConn defeat the No. 8 seed Kentucky Wildcats in the 2014 NCAA Championship game. The Hawks wrote a tweet explaining that they could be NBA champions based off the seeding Kentucky and UConn had:

Well, to the Hawks, it's not exactly the same thing. Atlanta is the dead-last No. 8 seed in the East. That's like being No. 16 Coastal Carolina against No. 1 seed Virginia earlier in the NCAA Tournament.
Oh well, whatever helps the Hawks as they head into the postseason where they will face the Miami Heat or Indiana Pacers.
