The Golden State Warriors clinched the 2014 NBA Playoffs after defeating the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night. However, the franchise has issued a fraud alert from buying the upcoming Warriors postseason tickets from non-verified third-parties.
Here's the team's official statement:
"Fans looking to attend Warriors games during the 2014 Playoffs are encouraged to purchase tickets directly from the team by visiting warriors.com or calling 1-888-GSW-HOOP. Fans that sign up for the Season Ticket Priority Wait List or subscribe as a Warriors Insider will have access to exclusive presale opportunities. Presale and general public sale dates and times for Warriors 2014 Playoff tickets will be announced at a later date. In the event that a Warriors playoff game is sold out, tickets may still be purchased through the Warriors official resale marketplace, where season ticket holders and other fans resell tickets that are guaranteed by the Warriors organization. Resale tickets are currently available through warriors.com, and offer a safe and convenient way for fans to access all levels of tickets throughout the regular season and playoffs."
The Warriors are now 49-30 on the season right now, good enough for the sixth seed in the Western Conference. They definitely make the case for being championship contenders.
