Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Corey Brewer had one of the most epic performances of the 2013-14 NBA regular season when he dropped 51 points in a win over Houston Rockets on Friday night.
Brewer shot 19-of-30 from the field in the T-Wolves' 112-110 victory. The crazy part is that Brewer was just barely averaging over 10 points per game this season. He has averaged 10 over his NBA career, so it's crazy to see this outburst from him that night.
“You know how many guys scored 50 in the NBA? I never in my career expected to score 50," Brewer said.
He added that he hasn't had this type of game since he was in high school. His previous career-high in the NBA was 29 points.
