Seattle Seahawks star Richard Sherman's reign as the NFL's highest paid cornerback is now over, as Cleveland Browns stud Joe Haden signed a five-year, $68 million extension on Tuesday with $45 million guaranteed. Haden made the announcement on Twitter.

The new deal makes Haden a part of the Browns organization through 2019. Having turned 25 years old last month, he will be 30 by the time the deal is over. This could allow Haden to get another contract extension if he's still playing well by then.

Haden, a Pro Bowler, brings optimism to a Browns team that looks to be on the come-up now after having a solid draft that featured selections such as Justin Gilbert and Johnny Manziel.

Now we're waiting for Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson to get a deal...
