After making controversial statements regarding the Ray Rice suspension for domestic violence and then an apology, ESPN has banned Stephen A. Smith for one week.
According to Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated, Smith will not appear anywhere on the worldwide leader, including his TV show, "First Take," with Skip Bayless. He also won't appear on ESPN radio, where he is frequent on as well.
“ESPN announced today that Stephen A. Smith will not appear on First Take or ESPN Radio for the next week," ESPN PR told Deitsch.
We'll see what Smith has to say about this soon ... if he does say anything, of course.
