WOW! In a surprising turn of events, Chris Bosh is deciding to stay with the Miami Heat.
According to Adrian Wojnrowski of Yahoo Sports, the free agent power forward is finalizing an agreement where he re-signs with the Heat under the max deal worth $118 million over five years.

Almost everyone was banking on Bosh going to the Houston Rockets to team up with Dwight Howard and James Harden, but it looks like the money talked for Bosh even though the Rockets also offered the max. With the Heat's deal, there's more security and money though.
With Bosh staying, it all but guarantees Dwyane Wade staying as well, so we can throw all the talk of him going to the Chicago Bulls out of the window now.

This is some good news for Miami after hearing about LeBron James leaving to join the Cleveland Cavaliers. Miami now has a chance to still compete in the East instead of rebuilding.
They have enough cap space after Bosh and Wade's contracts where they can sign more role players or maybe one more key star or above-average player like Luol Deng or something. Heck, maybe there's now a chance at Carmelo Anthony.
We'll see what happens, but the Heat aren't quitting on their roster, that's for sure.
