It's not confirmed that Carmelo Anthony is returning to the New York Knicks. While it's expected he will make an announcement sometime soon that he will stay with NY, he's still looking at all his options.
Knicks president Phil Jackson reportedly text messaged Melo about his decision, but has yet to hear a reply from the free agent star small forward.

In addition, the five-year, $129 million max deal wasn't the only offer made to Melo by the Knicks. Jackson says he made five different contract offers for Carmelo.

Jackson still remains confident that Melo will stay. Expect a decision once LeBron James finally makes one.
