Rajon Rondo has himself on top of the trade rumors again after ESPN Boston's Jackie McMullen reported that the Celtics point guard "wants out."
Of course, Rondo is looking to deny that report. According to the Boston Herald, Rondo and his agent, Bill Duffy, denied the trade request report.
“Neither (agent) Bill Duffy nor Rajon know where this has come from, but it didn’t come from them," BDA spokeswoman Alyson Furch told the Herald. "They want this on the record. Neither has spoken to anyone about this."
It is interesting, considering the fact that Rondo has talked about staying with the Celtics long-term before. Of course, there a whole lot of other reports like when he allegedly asked the C's for a $100 million extension.
We'll see if anything moves forward with this rumor.
