The last time Colt McCoy was a starting quarterback in the NFL, it was a long time ago with the Cleveland Browns.
McCoy now be starting in the meantime for the Washington Redskins before Robert Griffin III makes his return to the field. Apparently, he's thrilled and relieved to finally be starting again in the league.
From CBS Sports:
Harlan, who wouldn’t reveal his Redskins source, had a compelling anecdote about McCoy’s reported reaction to learning he’d be thrown into the Titans in the second half.
“And I’m not gonna tell you who told me this, but I guess when he went in there, and they say ‘You’re gonna start the second half,’” Harlan relayed the account he was told. “He goes, ‘It’s about f’ing time that I’m starting.’”
I really hope this is true.
