This is not good news at all for the Arizona Cardinals.
During Sunday's win over the St. Louis Rams, quarterback Carson Palmer went down with a terrible knee injury. It happened to his left knee, the same knee that experienced a torn ACL injury back in 2006 when he was on the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cards are preparing for the worst, and it's expected that Palmer will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL:

Palmer was just rewarded with a three-year, $50 million contract extension this week. Palmer, however, had already missed multiple games earlier in this season due to injury.
If the report is true, the 8-1 Cardinals will have to move on this season with Drew Stanton at QB.
