Russell Westbrook February 2015 All-Star

What a great way to end the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend with this entertaining All-Star Game on Sunday night.

It was all Russell Westbrook in this game, who took home MVP honors as the West beat the East, 163-158. The Oklahoma City Thunder star had 41 points and five rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench.

He was only a basket away from breaking Wilt Chamberlain's record for the most points in an All-Star game.

Several All-Star records were broken this night, with some by Westbrook himself:

James Harden had a near triple-double with 29 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. LaMarcus Aldridge was third on the team in scoring with 18 points.

For the East, it was all LeBron James to start out. The King had 30 points and seven assists in the game. Had the East won, he likely would have gotten the MVP award.

Kyle Korver, who was literally last-second reserve for the East, was second on the team in scoring with 21 points, all off 3-pointers. He was 7-of-12 from deep. John Wall had 19 points.

Overall, a solid game. You can see all the highlights here.

A great All-Star Weekend now comes to a close. Looking forward to what next year has in store with the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend coming to Toronto. What does Drake and the 6 have in store for us?
