Detroit Lions Vs. New England Patriots At Gillette Stadium

Darrelle Revis looked like a lost a step when he was on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2013 season. But in 2014 with the New England Patriots, he regained his status as one of the top, and arguably the best, cornerback in the NFL.

Revis can become a free agent this offseason, and several teams will be looking to go after him. Two AFC East rivals will be looking to add him to their roster in the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets, ESPN reports.

The Jets, who probably regret letting Revis go a few years ago, are expected to make a serious run at Revis. Former Jets head coach Rex Ryan, who lobbied for New York to bring back Revis this past season, will likely look to add him on to his talented Bills defense.

The only way the Patriots can be able to keep Revis from entering free agency is if they're able to exercise his whopping $20 million option. Though the Pats haven't ruled out paying it, it's unlikely to happen.

Revis will turn 30 years old in July. He's coming off a solid season, where he had two picks and displayed himself as a shutdown corner.

We'll see where Revis winds up this offseason.
