The Seattle Seahawks were a one-yard Marshawn Lynch run away from repeating as Super Bowl champions, but instead decided to a slant across the middle throw away the game versus the New England Patriots on Sunday night.
The oddsmakers probably agree that Seattle should've won, and have placed as the favorites to win the 2016 Super Bowl for next season. Followed by Seattle is, of course, the New England Patriots. Numbers 3 and 4 go to the Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos.

Do you think Seattle are the favorites?
It's hard not to pick against them, but going to three straight Super Bowl appearances is a feat in itself. It's going to be tough to do, and Seattle will have to fight plenty of demons with that next season.
Personally, I think it's more likely that it's a Packers-Patriots or Broncos-Packers Super Bowl. I also consider the Dallas Cowboys a strong dark horse, but we'll see.
But enough predicting. The next NFL season doesn't start for about another seven months. On to the offseason we go!
