The Buffalo Bills quarterback competition was never going to be a star-studded affair in the first place, but should we be alarmed that Matt Cassel has emerged as the No.1 for another franchise?

According to the Buffalo News, Cassel seems to have the edge as of now.

In what might be a sign of an early leader, Matt Cassel took starting reps for the third day in a row while Tyrod Taylor, who worked as a backup Saturday, alternated with the starters. None of the three looked particularly impressive, with EJ Manuel struggling the most. Majority of completions by the trio pretty much come on short and intermediate routes.

It could be the beginning of the end for EJ Manuel in Buffalo, but I really would like to see Tyrod Taylor get an opportunity.
