Charlie Sheen is a noted Cincinnati Reds fan, but when he saw Texas Rangers pitcher Derek Holland paying tribute to “Wild Thing,” he just had to go visit the Rangers.

Sheen dropped in on the Rangers’ clubhouse at Angels Stadium on Saturday after Holland held the Los Angeles Angels to just one run on three hits in eight innings. That’s when the Texas left-hander got to show the actor his Wild Thing haircut.

According to the Dallas Morning News, Holland says the haircut will be staying for the rest of the year. As for what led him to pay tribute to the Wild Thing, here’s what he had to say:

"It was one of my friends actually. They came up with it and we had actually talked about this a long time ago. He said, ‘When you come back, that’s what you need to come back with.’ And I was like, ‘Nah. I don’t know if I could do it.’ They finally talked me into it. Obviously a few drinks got into me and that’s why I did it. I definitely did the haircut to change it up. I got to enjoy myself. That’s what it’s all about."
