Geno Smith is weeks away from being active for the Jets, but he seems healthy enough to do position drills with his teammates, according to the New York Daily News.

The Jets quarterback, who suffered a broken jaw after being snuffed by IK Enemkpali on Aug. 7, participated in positional drills for the first time since the injury on Monday.

Smith had surgery to repair his broken jaw on Aug. 13, and is expected to return to the lineup around week 3 or week 7.
