The New York Giants, hoping to kick the tires on skill position help, worked out Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks during their Tuesday off day.

Welker, 34, became a free agent in March and has not garnered much interest, even though he once was the most dangerous slot receiver in the game. Welker has 890 career receptions and five times had 100 catches in a season.
Nicks is only 27, but appears to be washed.
