ESPN's Stephen A. Smith and others thought it was outrageous that Kobe Bryant came in at No. 93 on ESPN’s annual player rankings.

There is one person that could really care less, and that is the Black Mamba himself.

“I don’t need to defend that [ranking]. Nobody does, really," he said. "Please don’t ask me about silly stuff like that.”

Last season Bryant was ranked 40 on the list, and reacted the way we would expect calling such a ranking “laughable.”

“I’ve known for a long time [that] they’re a bunch of idiots,” Bryant said last October, referring to the ranking as “silly” and “laughable.”

One of the top 10 players ever, Bryant should just get an automatic top 10 ranking every season.
