One of the most electrifying players in NFL history will have his career come to a close this weekend, as Michael Vick will have his official retirement party.

The 36-year-old spent all season as a free agent. Seeing the writing on the wall, Vick will officially be walking away from the game.

To celebrate, he'll be having a retirement party this Saturday in Houston, the night before the Super Bowl. It fits nice since the Atlanta Falcons will be playing in the game, the team Vick was most famous for playing on.

One of the best parts about the party? Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane will be co-hosting it with Vick. Just awesome.

Vick, of course, was the No. 1 overall pick of the 2001 NFL Draft. He excelled on the Falcons until his infamous dogfighting scandal that had him sent to prison for two years.

Vick returned to the NFL as he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he had his best statistical season in 2010. It was an MVP-caliber year for Vick that season.

Injuries led to Vick's downfall after that, but he was a serviceable backup afterwards for teams like the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers.
