The Brooklyn Nets decided to honor legendary rapper Notorious BIG by retiring jersey No. 72 into the rafters before their game against the New York Knicks on Sunday night. No. 72 is due to Biggie's birth year in 1972, and it has been 20 years now since his death.

It's definitely a cool gesture, but I do find it funny that they have a Biggie and Jay Z banner in the rafters considering how bad they have been this year. They haven't done much since moving to Brooklyn several years ago, so Hov and Biggie is all they got I guess.

Here's what Kristaps Porzingis thinks:

Whose jersey will get retired next?
