Terrance Williams just signed a new deal last year, so this isn’t the right move at all. The Dallas Cowboys wide receiver was arrested early Saturday morning for public intoxication after he crashed his Lamborghini into a light pole, reports confirmed.
At approximately 4:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 19th, 2018, the Frisco Police Department responded to a minor vehicle accident in the area of Frisco Green Avenue and Lebanon Road. Upon arrival, Frisco Police found that a 2017 blue Lamborghini had left the roadway and struck a light pole. The driver of the vehicle had fled the scene and could not be found in the area. Frisco Police were able to determine the vehicle was registered to a Terrance Tyrone Williams of Frisco Texas.

While investigating the accident, Frisco Police Officers located Mr. Williams near his residence riding an electric bicycle in the roadway. Mr. Williams was subsequently arrested for Public Intoxication, which is a Class C Misdemeanor. He has since been released from the Frisco Detention Center on a $369 bond.

The offense of Duty on Striking a Structure, Fixture, or Highway Landscaping (TX Transportation Code 550.025) for the driver of the vehicle fleeing the scene is still under investigation and no charges for that offense have been filed at this time. Due to the damage of the light fixture being over $200, this offense is a Class B Misdemeanor.
Williams was released from jail Saturday afternoon on a $369 bond.

Williams is coming off a season in which he posted 53 receptions for 568 yards in 2017, the first of a four-year, $17-million contract.
