Alize Johnson reminds me of Jimmy Butler, and he should have a long and healthy NBA career. The Indiana Pacers chose the Missouri State forward with the 50th pick in the second round of Thursday’s NBA Draft.

“Alize is a bulldog,” Pacers president Kevin Pritchard said. “We’ve known about him for a couple years.”
Johnson, a 6-foot-8 power forward, averaged 15 points and 11.6 rebounds (fifth in the nation) as a senior and recorded 37 double-doubles during his career.
