Vlade Divac is a huge optimist, but even this prognosis by the Sacramento Kings general manager is a stretch to say the least.

After the Kings selected Duke star Marvin Bagley with the second overall pick during Thursday’s NBA Draft, Divac attempted to prop up the fact his team defeated the champion Golden State Warriors twice last season, therefore making them a “super team.”

Sacramento was 27-55 in 2017-18, so we know that Divac was just joking, but here’s hoping that the team's bundle of youth can translate into wins for Sactown. Bagley, De’Aaron Fox, and Justin Jackson are building blocks, but the Kings have some ways to go.
