Randy Moss is now back in the Bay Area.

After unretiring with his absence from this past NFL season, the 35-year-old wide receiver inked a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers. Moss worked out for San Francisco today, catching passes from head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Moss worked out for the Saints earlier the past week.

Moss looks to bounce back after his ugly 2010 season, where he bounced from the Patriots, to the Vikings and then the Titans.

Moss will team up with Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree to give a strong receiving core for quarterback Alex Smith. The Niners are in need of a guy like him, as they ranked last in the NFC this past season in receptions, totaling only 143.

The Niners also need someone to stretch the field, and they have found their man in the 6'4" veteran. I look forward to see what Moss brings to the table.

What do you think of the signing?
