Tim Tebow Getting Screwed by the Denver Broncos?! - NFL Football - JRSportBrief

Tim Tebow helped save the Denver Broncos from a 1-4 record last season, and took them on a surprising run to the playoffs! Albeit with inconsistent play...Do you think John Elway and the Broncos are giving him a fair shake?

  1. Of course he's getting screwed and more, he is getting disrespected because of his 'mechanics' and 'footwork'. No consideration whatsoever for the excitment and for the fine example he set for Denver and the nation. Peyton Manning has been one of the greatest and perhaps he will bring that instant gratification John Elway, Pat Bowlen, sports talk jocks, etc. all want, but for what, a year, maybe two, maybe not at all, then what? Tebow has not been given a chance to prove or disprove their concerns and I am one fan who feels he was the inspiration behind the Broncos not giving up in any game futile though it seemed. YES, he is getting "screwed" and I am sure he isn't enjoying it much. John Elway can not stand not having all the attention on him and Tim Tebow was closing in fast. But what the hell, I'm just a lowly fan who saves all year to buy tickets and this year felt my money was well spent because of the fun and excitment this young man brought to our team. Say what you will, but he is a winner and time will bear this out, lest we forget the ugliness of John Elways first years.

FOX HAS TO SAY SOME GOOD THINGS CUZ LOOK WHAT TEBOW HELPD DO...HE DIDNT DO IT BY HIS SELF AND HE EVEN ACKNOWLEDGES HIS TEAM ANDE "COACHES" OH AND I FORGOT "GOD" IVE BEEN A BRONCO FAN WHEN THEY FIRST CAME INTO DENVE AND I LIVE IN FLORIDA KNOW BUT IM ABOUT TO STATR ROOTING FOR ANOTHER TEAM BECAUSE OF ELWAYS UNGREATFUL SELFISH SELF.

  4. Yes, I do believe Tebow is getting screwed. Yes, business
is business and if the Broncos can get Manning, go for it.
Personally, I feel Elway hasn't wanted Tebow from the be-
ginning, obviously he can't admit it. My money is on Manning, I think he'll sign with the Titans for numerous
reasons, but I think somewhere in the back of Manning's
mind, he wouldn't want to be the reason for Tebow's release?? Manning is a class act, so is Tebow, more then
I can say about Elway. We'll know soon!!

  5. Young Tim Tebow took them to the playoffs in his first pro season & now they cast him off like junk mail for a QB that has had 4 neck surgeries. That being said- we all know football is a business & this is how it works. I hope it all works out well for all parties.

  6. Tebow is a good man and will be successful elsewhere. He is getting a dirty deal from my favorite team. Manning is in for the bucks and will end up like Unitas and Namath in their latter years. What a waste of money. Might now switch to the Raider Nation.

  9. Its probably in Manning's contract will sign but you must get rid of Tebow mania & trade him. every defensive player is going to go after Manning 5 year deal 41 year old quarterback

  10. Miss P.

Keep Tebow, if he is willing. Manning is throwing well, but this was not is game conditions where there were ll men coming to destroy him.

  11. Manning is a winer. he is gonna get his neck broke (please id love to see that ) and then where are we. tebow was so awesome. I am 41 years old and have been a bronco fan since i knew what a football was and now that we signed manning and TOTALLY SCREWED TEBOW i dont have a team to root for. i knew Fox and Bowlen where F*&^ing idots but this is the worst. Tebows the best and always will be.

  12. Don't agree with Pat Robertson about hardly anything but the Broncos richly deserve to have Manning break down. And no, it won't be an act of God...just something predictable based on the medical situation.

  13. Why is it that everybody considered Vick to be a top-notch talent because of his running ability and not Tebow? In Vick's fourth season in the league his QB rating was 78.1 and he ran for 900 yds (he also started in 15 games). Tebow's first 13 games as a starter (over his first two seasons) consist of him running for 887 yds and a QB rating of 75.1. Vick had only 3 points higher on his QB rating and only 13 yds more rushing... IN HIS FOURTH SEASON! Tebow also had 6 fourth quarter comebacks. When the game was within one score, Tebow's rating was approximately 85 and that doesn't account for his running ablility. Tebow deserved to be the starter for the 2012 season as a Denver Bronco QB, much less to stay on the team. He'll be starting for the Jets by week 5. No matter how annoying Rex Ryan can be, he's a much smarter coach than John Fox, and he'll allow Tebow a chance.
