Jeremy Lin appears to be a long shot for the New York Knicks for their Game 5 match-up against the Miami Heat on Tuesday, reports ESPN New York.

"We'll gauge it today and tomorrow, but I'm not counting on Jeremy Lin to play," says interim coach Mike Woodson. "So we've just got to continue where we've been in terms of guys in uniform. But I'm not counting on him to play. ... That's how it's been here in the last month and a half and that's how I'm preparing."

Lin underwent surgery to repair his left torn meniscus a month ago. The Knicks currently trail in the series 3-1, looking to keep their hopes alive into advancing into the second round.
