"They're not looking for my services this year. (Coach Greg Schiano) said he'd help me out with a trade. It's kind of shocking, but that's what it is," Winslow said on Sirius XM Radio.
Clark worked out with the Bucs and they are expected to give him a contract sometime soon, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Clark has received interest from several teams, including his former rival in the New England Patriots.
"(Schiano was) kind of upset that I wasn't there with the team working out in the offseason and then the first week of OTAs. You know, look, I've been there the last three years and I've had a successful career so far. You just don't get rid of one of your best players because of that," Winslow said.
The 28-year-old Winslow had a pretty solid season last year, having 75 catches for 763 yards and two touchdowns. He was traded to Tampa Bay after he played with the Cleveland Browns.
Meanwhile, Clark has been coming off two straight injury-filled seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. The 33-year-old's last good season was in 2009 where he had 100 catches for over 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns.
It's pretty confusing of why the Bucs are doing this. Unless if Clark goes back to his old form, this is a pretty questionable decision by them overall.
