After having a partial tear in his Achilles tendon, Baltimore Ravens pass-rusher Terrell Suggs underwent surgery for it.

Suggs is confident that he will return.

"There is only a small incision, and he said it was not as bad as some thought it was, which I had already been told," Suggs told the Baltimore Sun.

Suggs says it's still the same prognosis of returning, which is about four-to-six months.

There are many odds of Suggs returning, as a study by American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons in 2006 says that most players return from that specific injury after 11 months. But Suggs doesn't doubt himself.

"I'm 29 years old," Suggs told the newspaper. "I don't miss games. I'll be returning soon."
