The shoe game has changed a lot. The prices are getting higher, but the sneakerheads will bite for it and are always wanting more.

Which is why Nike decided to make the new LeBron James shoes (the LeBron X's) to retail at $315, according to Business Insider. The new price is much higher than last year's LeBron 9's that retailed for only $170.

However, things already looked like it was about to change after the new playoff-edition version of the 9's retailed for $250 by Nike. And with the latest Golden Moments pack that came out a few days ago that retailed for $350, many were nuts over it.

So it's no surprise to why Nike did this. Overall, it's a smart move. Why not make the shoes $315 when they know people are going to buy them? According to sources, it will be the highest price for a pair of shoes that Nike has ever sold.

However, for most people that don't want to pay the irrational price, there will be a cheaper version of the shoes that will retail for $180, according to Dime Mag. However, the shoes won't feature the Nike Basketball technology that many have been talking about.

Nike has gotten an increased revenue of 17-percent from their shoes. It's a great business move, and I don't blame them. It's also good for LeBron as well. When the Miami Heat star is rocking them, people are down to wanting to buy them.

What do you think of this latest move by Nike? Are you still copping?
