Years from now, there will be a controversial "30 for 30" on the New England Patriots dynasty, and the means they used to obtain football royalty.

During an appearance on “The Dan Patrick Show,” former Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy says there was a time when Peyton Manning was spooked by the idea that the Pats were bugging the visitor’s locker room at Gillette Stadium.

“I know that that is very true, and, you know, as Peyton talked to guys who played for the Patriots, some of the guys who came over — whether it’s true or not he treated it as true,” he said. We didn’t have a lot of strategy discussions inside the locker room there.”

Dungy said Manning and the Colts would never discuss strategy in that locker room during trips to New England.

We’ll truly never know, but it does provide great theater.
