No. 15 Michigan is in danger of falling to the unranked Iowa Hawkeyes on the road, and Denard Robinson is not helping.

The early-season Heisman candidate threw his 11th interception of the season late in the second quarter. Michigan trailed Iowa 17-6 at the half.

In fairness the ball was tipped, but still Robinson just hasn't been the same guy he was last season this time around.

At this point Michigan's 7-1 record is the only reason his name is still buried at the bottom of the Heisman Trophy hat.

Robinson has only passed for 1,325 yards and rushed for 779 yards in 2011 after an eye-popping statistical performance last year in which he accumulated nearly 4,300 total yards and 32 touchdowns (14 rushing).

This arrant throw from Robinson tells the story of his frustrating, disappointing 2011 campaign with the Wolverines.

We already knew the BCS National Championship Game would have to wait until next year after Michigan's loss to rival Michigan State three weeks ago, but know it seems the Heisman will have to wait as well.

The junior will have to decide whether he wants to return to the Big Ten to polish his quarterback skills in 2012, or take his raw talent to the NFL and become the second coming of Tim Tebow, just without all the accolades.
