With Derrick Rose out to possibly as far as January or February as he recovers from a torn ACL, the Chicago Bulls have been rumored to have been looking at point guards to fill in for him in the time-being.

Such point guards are Steve Nash and Jason Kidd, both who can win a championship with the deep Bulls squad.

However, according to Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago, it seems unlikely that the Bulls will be able to sign them.

"That seems highly unlikely given the Bulls' relative lack of cap space and desire to stay close to the tax threshold. The only way Nash or Kidd could play in Chicago is if they would be willing to take a massive pay cut and at this point that also appears extremely unlikely."

So there's that.
