When you're a professional athlete, you can get away with a lot of things.

That's exactly what happened to Christo Bilukidi, who is a rookie defensive lineman for the Oakland Raiders. Bilukidi was a sixth-round draft pack out of Georgia State this year.

Bilukidi saved himself from a ticket after running past a red light, telling the officer that he plays for the Raiders. Bilukidi says he saved himself $428.

He tweets:

Looks like the police officer must be a great football fan. Pretty cool. However, maybe it was just a warning instead, since I don't think officers aren't really supposed to give professional athletes a free pass all the time (look at Justin Blackmon).

Oh well, good for Bilukidi I guess.
