According to Bruce Feldman of CBSSports.com, Florida State defensive end Brandon Jenkins, an All-American candidate, will miss remainder of 2012 Season with a left foot injury.

The senior standout was injured in the first half of the Seminoles' season-opening 69-3 win over Murray State on Saturday.

Jenkins is considered to be a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft, but he could use his redshirt season and opt to return to FSU for the 2013 season.

The two-time All-ACC selection had a total of 21.5 sacks the past two seasons for the Seminoles.
