According to the sources, Freeman has spoken with Vikings coach Leslie Frazier and general manager Rick Spielman. Fox Sports' Jay Glazer calls Minnesota the “most desirable option” for Freeman. If the Vikings signed Freeman, that would signal an end to the Matt Cassel or Christian Ponder era in Minnesota.
