The amazing streak of 189 straight starts for Reggie Wayne has come to a painful halt after the veteran wide receiver tore his ACL in Sunday night’s thrilling victory over the Denver Broncos.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Wayne has been officially placed on injured reserve by the Indianapolis Colts and will be done for the 2013 NFL season.

Wayne was on a roll this year, catching 38 passes for 503 yards and two touchdowns. He has 1006 catches, 13,566 yards and 80 touchdowns for his Hall of Fame career.
