The Indianapolis Colts may have defeated the Denver Broncos on Sunday night, but it wasn’t all smiles at Lucas Oil Stadium after the game.

Multiple sources are reporting that wide receiver Reggie Wayne tore the ACL in his right knee, and will miss the remainder of the season.

Wayne injured his knee on a non-contact play while he tried lunging for a low pass from Andrew Luck. After the game, Luck took all the blame for the injury, saying that “it was a terrible throw” and “it was my fault”.

Wayne has played in 189 consecutive games, which dates back to his rookie year in 2001. This is a huge loss for surging 5-2 Colts team.
