Through three games this season, Indiana Pacers shooting guard Lance Stephenson is averaging 19 points per outing while shooting nearly 60 percent from the field and 64 percent from the three-point line.

Stephenson is soon to be an unrestricted free agent next offseason, and is likely to get paid on the open market. Stephenson told Pacers.com that he plans to remain apart of the blue-and-gold once the 2014 NBA Free Agency period hits.

“I don’t think about that,” he said. “It’s a long season, I’m not thinking nothing about contracts. I’m going to stay with the Pacers, so I’m not even thinking about the contract.”

Is Lance sure about this?

“I’m staying with the Pacers,” he said.

We’ll see how Stephenson really feels once the chance to make a decision on some huge money that will be offered to him.
