Ishmael Adams, a defensive back and kick returner for the UCLA football team, has been suspended indefinitely after he was arrested on suspicion of felony robbery.

He was released from jail Tuesday at 6:24 a.m.

Adams, who has started all 26 games at cornerback the past two seasons, was taken into custody by UCLA police near campus early Sunday morning after he allegedly jacked a cell phone from an Uber driver.
