Charles Barkley appears back on the Knicks bandwagon. After constantly bashing the Knicks, Barkley believes they can make the playoffs this season with their revamped roster.

“The Knicks are one of my sleeper teams, I think they will make the playoffs,” Barkley said Monday on a conference call to promote TNT’s coverage of the upcoming season.

“I think Phil Jackson’s done a good job of getting quality NBA players. [Kristaps] Porzingis is obviously a young kid with tremendous upside, but I’m picking the Knicks to make the playoffs. They got actual NBA players on that roster this year.”

Adding proven NBA players Robin Lopez, Arron Afflalo to rookies Kristaps Porzingis and Jerian Grant will make anybody optimistic.
