Victor Cruz is a free agent after being cut by the New York Giants, however it should not take long for the 30-year-old to find a new suitor.

It appears the Carolina Panthers could be interested. According to NFL.com, Cruz visited with the team in Charlotte on Monday.

The Panthers could use some wideout help for Cam Newton, especially with the chance of Ted Ginn and/or Philly Brown leaving via free agency this offseason.

Cruz could fit well and revive his career with Newton, and it helps playing with the likes Kelvin Benjamin and Greg Olsen as well.

In his bounce back year from injury this past season after last playing in 2014, Cruz caught 39 passes for 586 yards and a touchdown as the Giants' third option in their receiving corps.
