In a blockbuster deal that could affect the Eastern Conference for years to come, Kawhi Leonard has been traded to the Toronto Raptors for DeMar DeRozan essentially.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Los Angeles Clippers were other teams reportedly interested in making a deal for the San Antonio Spurs forward.

ESPN.com’s Chris Haynes reports that Leonard has no desire to play in Toronto, as his preferred destination would be to play in Los Angeles, likely the Lakers.

The Spurs have an influx of shooting guards with Lonnie Walker and now DeRozan, leaving Danny Green as the odd man out. Per Jabari Young of The Express-News, the sharpshooting Green will be included in the deal for Kawhi Leonard.
