With many people freaking out over the pricing off the new shoes, the LeBron X's, made by the Miami Heat star LeBron James, don't be surprised that the price hasn't changed all that much.

According to Darren Rovell of ESPN, the shoes are expected to retail for $270 instead of $315 as rumored.

However, the cheapest version will be $180, as it won't feature the latest Nike basketball technology, which you shouldn't really care about.

Honestly, that is the main reason why it is priced so high at $270 because of the high-technology version. You know what it does? It just measures your vertical jump, that's all. So unless if you're some basketball player who's serious about their game, get the more expensive version.

If you're just some guy who likes to rock a fresh pair of kicks, go for the $180 version, which isn't all that far off considering that he his LeBron 9's went for $170 last year.

The first edition of the X's are set to release in a few weeks as the limited edition "Olympic" colorway will go for $290.
