Garrett Jones helped Salazar score with his double, but it wasn't enough as Indy fell close to Charlotte, 2-1. Bill Gentry/IndyIndians.com

Josh Dhani if officially a beat writer for the Indianapolis Indians

The Charlotte Knights were the team to officially make the Indians under .500 for the season. Now the Indians have went down lower, and have also went through some deja vu.

Two days ago, they lost to the Knights, 2-1, as Charlotte literally escaped while Indy didn't even try! Now the Gwinnett Braves have done the same, beating Indianapolis by the same score of 2-1 in an escaping finish.

Braves', Gregor Blanco, was awarded the Player of the Game in my books when he scored on an RBI single two outs in the tenth inning to bring out the victory!

Reliever, Juan Mateo, struck out two batters in the tenth for the Tribe before giving up a double. Then came the hero when Blanco made the single on the next play to give the win.

Brooks Conrad opened up the game in the third inning when he scored on a bases-loaded walk.

The Tribe returned in the fourth, tying it up, 1-1, with a single by Jeff Salazar and a double by Garrett Jones.

Then we all know how the Braves got the victory in the tenth, so no mind deja vu-ing that!

Starting pitcher for the Tribe, Eric Hacker, was pretty good but not great. He allowed one run and five hits in only six innings. Yeah, I know. That's why I said it wasn't so good.

The Indians will continue their four-game series with Gwinnett on Wednesday night at 7:00. They look to bring revenge and I hope they will.

Get them Indians, you can do it!
