As you all know now, the New England Patriots have cut wide receiver Tiquan Underwood last night on the eve of the Super Bowl.

Honestly, I get it: they needed a defensive lineman more than they needed a receiver. I know Underwood wasn't going to be much of a factor on special teams or anything, but I still think it was wrong what they did.

Couldn't they have cut him after the Baltimore game or anywhere before this week? I mean, honestly, this is just madness. However, another reason the Patriots released him last night is because so he won't sign with any other team until Monday, the day after the Super Bowl.

Well, you know, because the Giants can pull off such a move to get Underwood so he can get revenge. But that's not happening. But still, the Pats ruined a guys' dreams and it's just heartbreaking to see what he could be going through, even though his Twitter says otherwise.

Not a good move by the Patriots. This makes me want to root for the Giants even more tonight.

Oh Bill Belichick, you continue to fail me time after time.
