Barry Sanders, Jr. is a sophomore running back at Stanford. On Saturday, he saw the most extensive action of his young career.

He rushed three times for 34 yards and a touchdown and caught one pass for 16 yards. Sanders looked like his father for a second when he turned a 16-yard reception into a thing of the old Detroit Lions beauty by making a Washington State defender almost break his ankle.

I don’t know if Stanford is just saving him for later or what, but he needs to play more. Take a look at his magnificent play below:
